When contemplating this panda, one observes that the figure exhibits a Japanese landscape, complete with cherry blossoms, snow-topped Mount Fuji, and whitecapped waves. This was one of the bears that were damaged in the course of the PandaMania exhibition, though not by vandalism -- gold leaf paper originally on the panda was damaged by rains, and had to be painted-over by the artist.
