This interconnective panda was commissioned by AOL and presented a bit of a challenge for the artist to come up with a design acceptable to the corporate sponsor. According to the artist, "Originally we were going to do a 'tech bear', however after receiving my first design they decided that an Internet theme would be best. They said my first design looked like Silence of the Pandas -- too creepy!"
