Pandala (and Nicki) Artist: Elizabeth Sworobuk (photos by Rich) Many of the best pandas in the exhibition were also the most colorful, and this is one of the most colorful of all. There are four overlapping mandalas on the panda figure, as well as lotus designs on the legs. A mandala is a meditation tool that can bring calmness and acuity to the observer, and the artist evidently wanted this panda to do the same for passersby. (back to PandaMania main page)
