Washington, D.C. is a different and much quieter city at night after all the tourists and visitors have left the streets. This panda perhaps is meant to depict that, as it shows Washington -- its monuments and residential areas -- both night and day. The artist noted that he actually lived in some of the houses shown on the bear, which is reflected in the panda's alternate title, "Found Myself a City to Live In."
