Bear Naked Ladies (and Nicki) Artist: Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts (photos by Rich) This amusing panda is subtitled "A Lesson in Art History" and it certainly must have provided the students who designed and painted the bear some interesting incentive for research. The bear is an homage of sorts to the female nude in art, and each of the small paintings on the figure depicts a panda in the same position as the female nude in a famous work of art being recreated. The artists come from the same school which created the equally entertaining "Periodic Table of the Elephants" entry into D.C.'s "Party Animals" exhibition of 2002. (back to PandaMania main page)
