This preservation-minded panda incorporates images of many endangered species of animals in the world. According to the artist, "Because the beloved panda is an endangered specie, I decided, in my Pandamania proposal, to draw attention to the fact that so many of the wild animals we have enjoyed and taken for granted since childhood are, like the panda, endangered and likely to disappear altogether if we cannot ensure the long-term survival of their natural habitats. ... By my playing with the perspective, they appear to be inhabiting the same space, near a watering hole."
