Artist: Kid Power-DC and Miner Elementary School

This panda was designed by Kid Power-DC, an organization that works with at-risk youth, and it was created by 20 students at the Miner Elementary School in Washington. The panda honors Pierre L'Enfant, the man who designed the layout of the city of Washington. The bear is 'dressed' in colonial garb, and carries an original map of Washington.
